Pricing

Two journeys. Priced against what they replace.

A commodity check costs $30 and a boutique investigation costs $10,000. Ghostline is priced against the decision you actually need — a defensible, connection-mapped, chain-of-custody record — not the raw data behind it. Each journey has three tiers.

Continuous monitoring — keep a vetted, non-employee subject live: graph-delta alerts and a re-issued chain-of-custody as the record changes. For counterparties, vendors, board candidates and litigation subjects.

Priced against the alternative

What you'd otherwise pay — and what it still couldn't do.

Ghostline sits between commodity data pulls and a boutique retainer. Against every alternative, the same thing is missing: a resolved graph and a signed chain-of-custody, on one platform.

vs. background checks$30–90 / check

A single-source, pass/fail checkbox built for hiring. No connections, no evidentiary package.

Past the checkbox: the connections a background check was never built to find.

vs. data pulls (LexisNexis / TLO)$0.25–22 / hit

Raw records you correlate yourself; nothing ships as a signed, defensible package.

From a data dump to a decision you can defend.

vs. OSINT seats (Skopenow / Sayari)$7K–61K / seat

A powerful canvas that still needs a trained analyst to assemble — and a heavy seat to find out if it's worth it.

Graph intelligence without a $61,000 seat.

vs. a boutique firm (Kroll)$2,500–20,000 / report

The right call for adversarial or testifying matters — slow and expensive for the defensible middle.

Investigation-grade rigor in minutes, at a fraction of a retainer.

vs. visitor management (Raptor)$550–750 / site

A registry match and a log. Public data, a log — not custody watchlists or a sealed evidentiary record.

The visitor log that survives a subpoena — and escalates when it matters.

vs. a federal clearance (DCSA T5)$5,890 · months

The gold standard for rigor — but months in a queue, and not available to commercial buyers.

Adjudicator-grade rigor, without the six-month queue.

Pricing questions

How billing works.

How is each journey priced?

Journey 1 (Live screening) is a per-site annual subscription in three tiers by size. Journey 2 (Deep investigation) is a per-seat SaaS in three tiers — a solo seat, a team seat, and an enterprise license — with dossiers billed from included credits, then $1,999 pay-as-you-go.

Why is a dossier more than a $30 background check?

Because it replaces a different thing. A commodity check is a single-source pass/fail; a Ghostline dossier resolves one subject, maps the connections, and ships a signed chain-of-custody record — priced against the $2,500–20,000 investigation it stands in for, not the raw data.

How does the seat compare to Skopenow or Sayari?

An OSINT seat runs $7K–61K/yr and still needs an analyst to assemble the output — with no signed chain-of-custody. The Team seat is $29,999/yr and ships the finished, QA'd, signed dossier: graph intelligence without a $61,000 seat.

How is data cost handled?

Licensed-data cost is billed as a transparent passthrough, separate from the platform — no hidden markup on the underlying records.

Is this an FCRA background-check service?

No. Ghostline is scoped as consented, registry-based screening and permissible-purpose research under applicable FCRA / DPPA / state PI law — not an employment or tenant-screening tool. Continuous monitoring is offered only on non-employee subjects.

Can I start small?

Yes. Run a single dossier to see the graph and the chain-of-custody on a real subject before committing to a seat or a site license.
